CHEER!

Special Olympics MD- Montgomery ( SOMO) is forming a new Cheerleading Team: SOMO JOY!   that will train in the spring months for competition at the Maryland State Summer Games.

· S.O.MO. is seeking volunteer Coaches and Buddies to work with our athlete cheerleaders. Practices will begin on March 9th and be on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes School near BCC High School.

· SSL hours are given for this commitment and TRUE JOY will be the reward as well!

· Adults and High School students with Cheer experience who can make the commitment to attend practices from March through the second week of June should contact

· Special Olympics Coaches training and volunteer orientation will be provided.

· There will be a wide range of abilities and ages on the SOMO Cheer Team and we welcome a wide range of abilities and ages in our Volunteers as well!
