Special Olympics Maryland was in the first class of 7 non-profit organizations in Maryland to demonstrate compliance with the Maryland Association of Non-Profit Organizations (MANO) Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Non-profit Sector.

We are honored to be recognized for our fundamental values and will continue to strive to not only meet the needs of our athletes but to bring pride to all those who support us!

The SOMO Gift Envelope is a simple way for you and your family and friends to remember, honor or celebrate a special person or event any time of the year by simply completing the information on the pre-printed envelope, enclosing a check and off it goes! An acknowledgement will be sent to the recipient of the honor and you will receive acknowledgement as well. We will feature a special box in editions of the Relay to announce the SOMO gifts and honorees. Celebrate our athletes and celebrate our friends and families!
