Join the Special Olympics Maryland - Montgomery County athletes in a fund-raising 

and awareness-raising event. Come alone or form an “Inspiration Walk Team” and

bring friends, family and work-mates to the RIO Lake on Saturday April 10th

and you will have an opportunity to meet our athletes, hear their stories and

read about our Heroes on the many Inspiration signs located around the Lake.

Sponsor an Inspiration Sign in the name of an athlete or someone special in your life.

Your company, family or honorees name will appear on a sign to be enjoyed by all.

Inspiration Sign sponsorship is $100.00. Complete the registration form and mail in

to SOMO or contact Pam Yerg for levels of sponsorship.

This is a great way for students to earn Community Service Hours: Form a team with your 

school-mates , walk with your friends, come and help set up—contact us for volunteer
