SOMO has made an important step in our ability to coordinate resources for practices within and across teams. If you can Volunteer during some or all practices and events, choose Kayaking at: http://somdmontgomery.org/volsignup_for_sport.htm

For the Role, choose what you would like to focus on (there is also overlap to roles). Some examples for each of the roles available are:
Head Coach = divisions, trains, and coordinates competitions for the entire SOMO team
Assistant Coach = guides the skill develop and game play for a small group of Athletes via demonstration and suggestions for improvement of skills
Admin = helps with sign-in/management, informal or formal officiating (recording scores)
Chaperone = drives and/or is in charge of one or more Athletes at practices/events

BE SURE TO REGISTER YOUR INTEREST IN TRAINING FOR THIS SPORT BY USING THE ONLINE ATHLETE REGISTRATION FORM or ONLINE VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION FORM. All athletes/volunteers must register prior to attending practice. The forms will be available a few weeks prior to the sport's season.
