Send in your Sport Sign up form asap! It is very helpful to our coaches to have forms mailed in from athletes who are interested in training in a program. Remember: Number your first and second choices as you may be limited to competition in only your first choice. Coaches will not call you to remind you of practice times—the day, time and location of your sport training is in this newsletter. Be sure to show up for each and every practice—to be the best that you can be!

JUNIORS PROGRAM
SOMO is committed to providing sports training and competition that is developmentally designed for our junior athletes. Athletes age 6-14/15 participate in our juniors programs and at about age 15 will move into the seniors programs of training and competition. As our athletes get older and their skills develop, we will provide the best training and competition experience that we can…and will need volunteers and coaches to make this all happen. Call Pam to volunteer. |

CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations to all of our Winter Program athletes on their very successful seasons! Our Floor Hockey team—The Montgomery Monsters started up the winter season and as this goes to press are competing in the State Floor Hockey Tournament. Led by their mighty leaders Tim Powers and Matt Payne and by their “Monster Mascot” Turner, they will rock the floor hockey world!
The SOMO ski team consisting of alpine, cross country, and , new this year, snow shoe athletes and coaches will hit the slopes at Winter Games at WISP February 26-28. This is an amazingly close-knit and dedicated group of athletes, coaches and families and with a little luck in the snow department, SOMO will be very well represented by this star group!

Our junior league of 125 athletes and Unified Partners composes 7 teams in a round robin league and will play their final tournament on March 4th at the Barrie School.
