Recreational Spring 10 PIN BOWLING
Coaches: Lee Abigail & Rich Dromos Team Manager: Debbie Fickenscher The Spring Recreational Bowling Season is back by popular demand and possible thanks to the hugely successful Bowl-a-Thon! The intent of this program is to be able to reach out to as many athletes as possible in SOMO and first priority will be given to those athletes who do not train in any other spring sport. Seniors Swim Team
Our Seniors Swim Team Program is open to athletes age 15 and older who wish to train to compete in the SOMD Summer Games. This is not a “learn to swim program” and spaces on the team are limited. Athletes will be rostered on a registration first-received basis. Slots for competition in State games are very limited and will be filled based upon criterion set by the coaching staff. Training will be at the Rockville Municipal Swim Center on Saturdays. Mandatory Pre-season Orientation is March 4th from 8-9 PM. See calendar for practice times. |

Juniors and Seniors Track and Field.
Our Relay teams are unbeatable and our track program is one of the best in the state because of the enthusiasm and dedication of our track athletes and coaches! Practices are on Sundays from 1-2:30 at Good Counsel HS, and mid-week practices will also be offered (TBA). Our Regional Spring Games will be held on May 7th with time trials the April 23rd. JUNIORS T-ball
T-ball was so popular last year that it is back again! In partnership with PASA, T-ball will be offered on Sundays at the Potomac Community Center on Sundays from 9:30-11:00. All junior athletes ( ages 6-15) are welcome to join the team and learn the skills that will take them to softball as Senior athletes! Seniors Softball
Our SOMO Softball Team is a close-knit group training on Sundays with a mid-week practice TBA. Our new head coach Bob Golden will be joined by our dedicated coaching staff to prepare our team for competition in Regional and State Tournaments. Bocce
The Bocce team is seeking athletes and volunteers to help this program grow! Bocce is a great sport with a very committed Championship Team ready to welcome new athletes! Bocce practice will be Sundays from 11-12:30 at the Margaret Schweinhart Senior Center in Silver Spring. Directions can be found on the website.
