Thank you to our Inspiration Walk Sponsors, Community Partners and to our SOMO families and friends for a wonderful day and an ever-growing Walk that reaches out to our community to let them know just how awesome SOMO is!

Monument Bank, Mamma Lucia and Energy API were our primary sponsors this year and were joined by many Inspiration Walk Sign Sponsors that made this a successful fund-raiser as well as a great gathering event for our athletes and families and friends. Thanks to the IWALK Committee led by Joyce Plaxen for all of their hard work. Next year our goal is to reach out to the schools and encourage “I Walk Teams” . We will need your help in getting the word out and growing this event! Contact Joyce to help in the planning!

Our new Community partner The Gordon Biersch Restaurant and Brewery hosted a wonderful Rockville Town

Center Grand Opening and named SOMO as its Charity Partner! We made many new friends, met some new prospective coaches and received generous donations. Thank you to Gordon Biersch….and be sure to stop by, say “Hi from SOMO”, and enjoy a delicious meal !

Our amazing friends at Mamma Lucia have been our Community Partners for years—supporting us in all of our events. This year Mamma Lucia has kicked off The First Annual

“ Mamma’s Ride”

The Mamma’s Riders stopped by the Regional Spring Games at Churchill High School on May 6th to wish us all good luck and to present SOMO with a generous donation to our programs.

Hungry? Go to Mamma’s!
